System Solution
Several of our maritime clients required speedy and reliable communication with CANbus interface to connect and control on-board deck cranes. By equipping the V481 embedded computer with 2 additional CANbus ports, Moxa was able to deliver a quick and customized solution.

 

Moxa's V482 customized embedded computers serve as ideal controllers for connecting deck cranes via CANbus protocol. With the speedy communication interface, deck cranes can be fully controlled and monitored by crewmen and efficiently load and unload cargo. In addition, the V482 also comes with one Gigabit (10/100/1000 Mbps) port and one Ethernet (10/100 Mbps) port to ensure network redundancy and continuous operation. Moreover, the V482's wide operating temperature range (-35 to 75°C) means that it can be used in any harsh environment. This is especially beneficial for extending the application field sites.
